Ellen grew up in Wilmington, Delaware and graduated from the University of Richmond with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and American Studies. Instead of heading straight to the corporate world, Ellen followed her dream of exploring the outdoors and moved to Breckenridge, Colorado. The mountains and life after college proved to be exciting; snowboarding, cross-country skiing and hiking became part of her daily routine and she found herself surrounded by an incredible group of friends in her new home-away-from-home.

In Breckenridge, Ellen began to develop her career in the Hospitality Industry by moving her way up the ranks of Marriott International and then working as a Manager/Event Planner for Storm Enterprises, a private restaurant and catering company. During her decade in Breckenridge, she expanded her love of outdoor adventures and travels, as well as her circle of life long friends.
Upon her arrival back East, Ellen joined her brother in his international flower business while continuing to do some contractual work in special events. In addition to her work with one brave chick, she is currently working as an Event Planner for a financial resources company.
