This is a disease does not affect any two people the same way, but it is an illness where each cell does not have he energy it needs to do its job. She is married and has a nine-month old baby (via surrogate). Malisa inspires a legion of people from her Caringbridge blog page with her honest and inventive approach to her life from her bed. It is often a difficult path she travels, but more often than not, she is finding the beauty in the day and is always grateful for the many gifts she still has. I consider it an honor to know her.
