Submitted by: Michelle is 22 year old, college student that has been battling melanoma since the age of 19.  The disease has spread to her lungs, brain, spine, hip and kidney and yet she continues to amaze everyone with the strength that she has to be involved in creating the first ever Miles for Melanoma walk in Delaware in September, as she battles for her own life.  She is determined to make people aware of the dangers of the sun and the tanning beds to try and save peoples lives especially the teens and college students who frequent the tanning beds.  She has worked with House Representative Michael Castle on Michelle's Law and also on his proposal for Tanning bed warnings and the SPF factor.
